Designers & Makers

Sat, 3 Sep, 2016, 10am - 4pm @ East Harling Church
 
Designers & Makers

This is a unique opportunity to meet the artists, and see an exhibition of work using traditional methods, "From the medieval to the modern".

Themed exhibition of local artisans working with traditional methods from medieval times, maintaining and keeping these traditional crafts alive for the future.

Featuring amongst others the work of:

  • Maz Jackson artist in tempera
  • Sheila McDonald jeweler/enameller and fellow of the Goldsmiths company
  • William Fairbank sculptor (Stations of the Cross in Ely Cathedral)
  • Artists in stained glass, pottery, and metal work and featuring the work of the Broderers Guild of Norwich Cathedral.

Community Cafe open, serving home made cakes, teas and coffees, followed by light lunches - all proceeds going to support East Harling Church.
